Merchant, owner of Salman Case & Sons Store
First Cashier of National Bank of Vernon, original location in Case’s store.
Original Trustee, Vernon Academy.
Vernon Town Supervisor, 1843, 1845
Salmon Case came to the village in 1813 and lived here all his life; he died in 1871. He opened a store and long carried on a successful business. He was the first cashier of the Bank of Vernon, was twice elected supervisor of the town, and was otherwise honored.
